Stylist
 Steffan became a stylist so that he could create art every day, as well as inspire, enrich, and brighten the lives of others. To him, creating art means bringing life to a work, no matter the media or muse. "I draw on inspiration from my surroundings--perhaps the color of a leaf in a tree or the way paint drips on a wall. The world is an inspiring place all we have to do is open our eyes to see the beauty it holds." His initial training was with the Aveda institute in Chapel Hill North Carolina in 2007. After the institute he furthered his education with Scott J salon in New York City. There he trained in advanced cuts, color, and editorial styling. In August of 2008 he moved to Austin TX and started work with Avant. Steffan completed Avant's nationally recognized advanced color course, and then continued to be an Aveda color specialist for 2.5 years. He also specialized in dimensional reds, and is Diva Curl certified. In between 2008 and 2010 Steffan did extensive training on keratin treatments, up-styles, makeup, and simple styles. Since 2008 he has been highly active in the Austin fashion in arts scene. His work has been published in 6 different magazines, and has been privileged to participate in countless shows as well as being nominated for the Austin fashion week Teams Award 2010. Steffan has recently put in many extra education hours to become an Aveda trained Color Coach for Garbo.
